A-Arm bushing/bolt

Hey all

I have a 1990 Pathfinder 4x4 with a problem..

The bolt that runs through the a-arm bushing and come out the front of the a-arm is stripped and the nut will not go back on to keep pressure on the torsion bar/bushing.

So i will need to take the bolt out from the busing and replace it. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this???

or should i just use a thread chaser or something similar to try and repair it myself before i do all the work of taking it out...?
