I wanted a new front bumper to help the approach angle of my truck, so I called Andy at the Rock Shop and he said to bring it down and he would take care of it. I live in Durham and for those of you who don't know the Carolina Rock Shop is in Charlotte, so it was important that i finish this redesign in one day, I feel that Andy and all the guys at the Rock Shop did a great job, I was pleased with the finished product and in how quickly it was completed, even considering how busy he was before i arrived.
I don't have any good before pics but the redesign added over six inches to my approach.
Thanks,
Michael

That's looking great! Now go hit something with it!

Looks good....hate i didnt get to see the final product before i left on wednesday, but it turned out nice. Glad you like it.

Seth

Oh geez. Did Seth slip ya $20 to say that? haha Looks a heck of alot better than what ya started with. Oh, i was the scruffy (smoking hot {seth will attest to my smoking hottness})guy that stoped buy to pick up an extra rubicon joint while yall were throwing ideas around.

no money changed hands, that was a freebie, but he did earn it staying late and all

Gotta hi-jack this thread for a bit. How do you like that diamond housing in the front. Just curious since my neighbor used one to SAS his 96 taco and has already broken the housing. Apperantly there was a design flaw in the welds on the inside and such and on his the drive side tube seperated from the diff section

Nice...still haven't drawn up a bumper for my 8274 yet:confused:

The housing is great, no problems, i would like to see some pics of the broken housing if you cold get them though.
Thanks,
Michael

It's been a couple months since it broke on him so I don't have any pics. Appearantly it was with the welds on the inside and since then the housings have been redesigned. Appearantly his wasn't the only 1 to have the issue

I have a few friends out in calf. that are running this same set up and love it, so i guess the problem has been fixed, if you are considering one i would just call and talk to brian at diamond, he was a big help for me and his housings came highly recommended to me.

i like the truck and the bumper. looks great.
