i just got a 94 kawasaki 750 ssxi for cheap...and have a few questions. (i tried the PWC forums but they are worthless)

1)the engine hasnt been cranked in a good 2 or 3 years said the previous owner....but when he put it in his garage it ran fine.

should i run seafoam through it to free it/clean it up?

2) what is a good way to draining the oil/gas to put fresh stuff in there?

3) any other tips or help of where to find info

TIA

1. take the plugs out and fill it with marvious mystery oil. let it sit a few days and suck/rotate the engine to remove excess

2. best thing to do is unhook the gas from the carb and run a longer line out the plug hole in the back of the ski, let gravity do the trick

3. Check compression, make sure both cylinders are close to the same compression, if not stop there it might not be worth the trouble to continue. After you get that done, reinstall old plugs, turn it over with fresh gas, double oiled get it running, get it to opperating temp and see if it runs hot, hopefully you have the flush kit for it so you can run it.... if not find one... After you run all the excess mystery oil out replace plugs.. Run the dog shit out of it and see if she will hold up.

Also check the tolerance between the impeller and the wall of the hsg, it needs to be really tight there or your performance/cooling will suck

Thats the best i can do for a quick reply, if you have any questions please feel free to ask, i'm not 100% on your particular ski, but most that era are close.. I'm a sea doo man myself.

1) by flush kit do you mean the hose tool that hooks to an actualy hose?
or is there an actualy flush kit for the cooling system? these things are water cooled.....correct?

and mystery oil in the engine, fun for a bit and see what happens?

thanks for the help! i'll PM you if i think of anything else!
