I think I have an AI property manager on one of my medical properties. FTR, this company historically has never had strong management. When they first took over they said all vendors were on the chopping block and after my first discussions with manager of the moment, I was retained and then depended upon for my knowledge and guidance of the property and also asked to take on their other properties in town. Fast forward to recent ice/snow events the regular manager is flighty to deal with and a new contact has been added. She is on point but deflects to the flighty manager when I question who is my point of contact AND starts to glorify me for my past work (which she should) lol
Is AI managers a "thing"?

Probably so and not worth dealing with. I’m sure you already know you aren’t the best or the cheapest! So no need to prove it.

Check out this summary of the emails

We're not gonna make are we? Humans...

That is a summary of your email chain, I get those in my gmail, I never pay attention to them. It is Google trying to insert AI to "help" you. Adbel is your client correct? Makes sense for who the original owners were if so.

Managers could be using AI for email responses. Lazy way of doing their work. Hard to say if you haven't talked to them.

We really are going down a rabbit hole that is going to destroy society. I believe it all started with social media and now AI. My 86 year old mother thinks it started when they put cruise control in cars. Coming from a women who never had hot water until she graduated HS, but also never pumped gas until she was 50.

I'm going to need AI to decipher this....

My Main managers I've talked to, this Larissa girl just came on the scene and shes very responsive, something I'm not used to with this group! lol I figure she's real.

I just hope John Connnor has his shit together.

And not all 'skibbidi-rizz toliet' with a broccoli haircut and a 'VEGAN 4 LIFE' pin on his turtleneck sweater.
I just posted a question in General Tech about drivetrain lengths and that AI said…

That mad me think how fuct up it is that when I joined this group, I bet I couldn’t had phantomed AI. I probably would have been closer to referencing what the Oracle said about drivetrain lengths after busting out his abacus.

I do have to say, you can ask a very specific question and get an actual helpful answer that will at least lead you down the right path.

I have to say, LaRessa is real and she stays in touch and handles business. I'm very glad to have communication on this property. It's been a while... Last good manager left in 2024. When she was leaving she called me to let me know she was leaving and thanked me for my professionalism and service and I did the same for her.
Now for these 16 months of emails that haven't been answered...

Gotta watch out, it was mostly trained with reddit

I've come across AI in trucking already. Mainly "screens" in email and phones. You give them info and they say they will get back to you if your rate is accepted or tell you you are not approved to work with.

all these AI centers are about to create a massive water shortage
Frustrating

I also don't understand why my power bill has to go up because THEY are consuming more power. They should pay for what they use and if the infrastructure has to be upgraded, sounds like a them problem, not one I should have to pay for.

Because AI is helping all of us, duh. At least that's what the tech companies want us to embrace.

Makes sense, I'm no longer mad:confused: :D

And I know that's the exact logic they are using. Also: "Yea you will have to pay more until your job is automated away and you are now unemployable, but you will get a windfall from all the profits and won't have to work anyway".

Aren't we going to have to pay for an AI service isnt that enough to get their infrastructure. I mean I used to buy MS Office every decade or so, now I am forced to pay them yearly. AI will be the same. Bought my records, cassette tapes, now a monthly subscription to listen to the music I own.......hey you kids Get off my grass!!!!
