Ofthose, if you're serious enough about this to warrant a cage, then I owuldn't waste the $$ investing in the D30... sicne it seems in thend people end up dumping it anyway.
Hnce, cage.

depends on tire size....if you are keeping it under 36s then chromo the 30 and keep it.

x2 on the cage though

Just curious..what axle truss, diff cover and beadlocks will you be getting for 300 bucks?

Sounds like a deal to me...buy that stuff.split it up and sale it for a profit...add to the bankroll.

Absolutely the locker if you want to improve off road capability. Wheels are going to get knocked up anyway = rock rings worthless. Unless you get really crazy somewhere like Harlan and endo it your stock cage will probably protect you OK if you flop it. Locker will help you go = my vote.

Locker. OMG try rig was completely different when I added a locker.

Also if you look around, you can probably find a used EZ locker for under $300 bucks. Order new springs for it and throw it in! Win-win+extra cash for beer and pizza.

how about some specs on your current rig? Since you only listed D30 locker on the poll, I guess I assumed you had a rear locker already...if not, the $300 could go into improving the rear (D35?). Lockers are huge, IMHO, you need all 4 wheels spinning to really go 4-wheelin' :huggy:
Your TJ windshield and sport bar will offer some prtection in a low speed flop, its not totally useless.

Is it a daily driver?

I just put a new CD player in my daily driver. To be honest, a decent sound system might be your best way to spend your $$.

Then again, I am a big audio guy. Gotta have my tunes.

$300 could go into improving the rear (D35?)

Only way to improve a D35 is to remove it. That is probably out of the $300 range.
