A little steel needed PDQ

I unfortunately don't have either at the moment, S&P has a flame table and could burn them but have no idea of lead time.
 
Sorry but I don't have any. Have you called Sanford Steel and Pipe? I know they sometimes have drops and partials, that's where I got the last 1/4" plate I needed for my buggy.
 
Thanks....last time I tried to get something at S&P (and they are friends of mine, and were a client for over 30 years), it was a 10 day lead time for stock lengths. I needed about a grand worth of 20 footers. This is kinda an "I need it by midnight" rush.

I found some 3/8x4 flat bar in my pile I think I can make work.

Will this work? I've got some 3/4" and 1" in bigger pieces also,
