A Message from the President
Southern Four Wheel Drive Association
We are pleased to introduce your “New” Southern Four Wheel Drive Association logo. I tremendous amount of work, angst and effort has been demonstrated by the members of this association. The new logo reflects the change in our focus as we repurpose SFWDA to reflect the community we serve. Our primary strategy is to reach all 4x4 enthusiasts and support both public and private lands. Additionally, we will focus new energies on educating all our members in the principles of “Tread Lightly” and responsible land usage. We will stay true to our core values of “Conservation, Education and Recreation.”
A special word of thanks to Walter Shafer, our SFWDA webmaster, for exhaustive efforts to make this a reality. He will share with you an overall perspective of this process as we roll this out to you, the members of SFWDA. We sincerely thank all of you for your constructive comments, inputs and feedback throughout this process.
Finally please join me in this journey as we change attitudes and the reality of our role in the four wheeling community. We can stay true to our core values as we embrace change and create a forward path with open communications and repurposing of your association. Let’s embrace our “New” SFWDA logo during its official introduction at SFWDA TrailFest, May 2-4, 2014 at Adventure Offroad Park and Nature Park.
Thank you,
Ray Stanley
