Anyone from a snow state knows that for the first snow of the year you do not put the snow plow on the truck until it ACTUALLY STARTS SNOWING !!!

No snow in sight yesterday and I saw 6 DOT trucks in convoy all with plows mounted and beds loaded with salt. All 6 were sitting on the shoulder of 64 bypass just before the 540 west ramp in Knightdale. your tax dollars at work !

well i dont know about raliegh, but we got some snow this afternoon and they are calling for some more this evening. as of now (8 pm) we have an 1 1/2" to 2". not much but enough to lay on the trees and dust the ground. maybe more will come tonight and bring that level on up some so i can go slide around a little.

what a boring snow... Didn't even make the roads slick, and if the roads ain't slick, it ain't worth snowin!

in concord it rained like crazy before, so all the snow instantly melted. it did come down for a couple good hours but it wasn't cold enough and the ground was wet. oh well. the snow a couple days ago was better, atleast early in the morning the roads were slippy and fun to drive on, and i pulled a mom with kids and an old man out of some ditches, i even made some $$ to.

oh well its NC what to you expect?
