lol, this has been bothering me. i dont like rampage jackson and it bothers me that he is going to be playing BA Barakus.


why isnt kimbo slice playing BA?
 
cause he's not smart enough to speak plainly.

Prob because it's cut into his ass-kicking MMA schedule.

I'm just bothered they're making the movie at all.
Thus far not one movie made from out childhood shows has been worth a shit or at all true to the originals. At this point i'd really rather just let them be great memories and not have the newer generations have such distorted views of them.

It would be like the new Knight rider and Ford would use the new Raptor or maybe a power wagon LOL

BTW what the hell was that about. Remaking a series and not only change the make but from a pontiac to Ford? Hell a Vette or the GTO would fit better LOL
 
it'll probably be lame, but I'm sure most of us will go see it.

it's all about getting the corporate sponsor $$. Who do you think ponied up the $$ for the advertising?
The problem is that the almighty $ drives the production. The majority audience is the younger crowd - they wan tto see vehciles that are current and they know. E.g. today's cars, not 25 year old ones.
The thing is, by "modernizing" it, the younger crowd won't think it's just a cheesy old-people's movie and will go. And, the generation it SHOULD be made for wil lstil lgo anyway just out of curiosity and hope it will be decent, even though we know it won't.. So they maximize ticket sales that way.

i'll give you that. Steve Correl was definitely a good pick for Maxwell Smart. Still not as good as the originals, but more true to style at least.
 
The Fall Guy FTMFW. I loved that show and that truck even at a young age rocked my socks. I personally think that if they are going to remake movies from old TV shows it really should at least follow the story line.
