AAA insurance

I just had to use AAA last night for the first time. My daughter left to go back to UNC Wilmington and right before she got there on a long stretch of highway 74 the car just stopped. Thankfully she had the AAA card with her called the tow truck immediately and he came out to the car to a Firestone repair center that I had to call this morning and have them scan the car sometime today and tell me what is wrong with it. Without AAA I would have had to choreograph all of that from Winston. Never used AAA before and I've had it for about 5 years but I'm very glad we have it for the kids

My wife has always had a basic AAA plan. We have only used it once in 10 years, but it was nice when I cranked my old F250 in a parking lot and it blew a power steering hose. There was a local towing company that tows for AAA coming by and I flagged him down. We called in and he talked to the operator and towed me home for $15.00. While that was great, I can honestly say, we have used it for discounts on hotels and tickets more than anything.

Got the premium plan before our trip last year to the OBX and Dixie Run. When we lost the control arm bolt on the beach we didn’t even think to use it. For about $100 for me and the wife it’s pretty good insurance if need it I’d say.

we have AAA on everyone including my grown daughters. My youngest is in Greensboro going after her masters and drives a 2002 taurus soooooooo the added piece of mind is a plus.
