Most of the goats I've seen were straight crazy w/o being rabid! they jump around and cut flips and ram each other, I can't imagine how a rabid one would be much different. I encountered a little guy just over kneehigh who left the herd and stalked me as I surveyed a farm years ago in Durham co. He followed and sneaked closer all the time, but would stop and act innocent when I turned to look at him. He was small and I did'nt pay him much attention till he finally charged and hit me from behind almost taking my legs out from under me!! We had a lil round and round as I poked him w the prizm pole and kicked him, but he would not back down so I had to walk backwards out of the pasture, everytime I turned my back to him he would charge again and I danced like a bullfighter w the little tough guy !!. I did'nt want to hurt the goat and upset the farmer but he needed and an asswhippin IMO. I watched another old goat eat a tin can once too.
