ok i have a 91 yj i wana do a soa on can anybody give me some advice on this and a ? i have is should i do weld on brackets or not and do i have 2 install a highsteer kit or not any advice or answers would be nice thanx

rockreadyyj. i saw you posted on my build thread so you can check out how i did my SOA. i just went SOA on my yj with a hp44 front. It is quite extensive as far as what you need in order to do this install PROPERLY. I've seen some crazy steering setups where people don't change to Highsteer and they bend the draglink to clear the springs and all kinds of wacky stuff to save a buck. that is very dangerous on the road and trail.

it's not a hard thing to do a SOA. there are just things you should and should not do. if you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM me. i can even do the welding for you if you need that done.

thanx guys thats all i needed and no i can do the welding i weld the roll cage 4 my dads racecar :)
ill post some pics on here wen i start doin the soa

i just converted to the wj steering set up so if u want to keep your factory drag link and tie rod then i have a 6"drop pitman arm. no contact with springs and full steering sweep

ok im sorry for bothering yall but with the soa should i do a t case drop or will my sye be ok??

you can keep the sye. you will just point the pinion to the transfer case yoke. if you get a anglefinder then yuo should set it to 1 degree below the tcase yoke. the front axle you will just weldthe perches ontop parallel to the lower perches. you want to keep your caster. also you need longer brake lines, longer ebrake cables. a minimum of a extreme drop pitman arm like the one im about to sell. or a high steer setup.

if you can get a hold of a wj set up and the steering arms it is definitely worth every penny. i can lock up my 35's! steering is awesome as hell too!
