when i moved into my house i was living alone with one truck. now i have my jeep, a powerstroke, and soon im getting something cheap to drive back and forth to school... i also now have two room mates that both have 2 cars each. i already added to the side of the existing driveway been that way for about two years now and no one has said anything, but what were planning on doing is on the other side of the house and is going to be on the other property line. i called the towns office and no one there can give me a straight answer about if i need a permit from them. its just going to be a gravel driveway that attaches to the road and have railroad ties to hold the gravel nothing fancy just adding room.

In most places you don't need a permit for a gravel driveway.

Be sure to read up on local ordinances, zoning, or covenant restrictions.

Typically, you can put a gravel driveway all the way up to the property line without any legal issues.

Not sure. I sold mine and tracked it through a few people. It had a 8 inch long arm and built D30/D35. Maybe I'll see ya around.

Nope probably not this one it's got a short arm kit for now but I'm working on a long arm kit for it. I drive it around pretty often all Over Haywood county. Where at are you building?

In midway. Right past the cemetery on Flowering Cove. I just bought 14 acres. Its right outside the city limits.

dang your only gonna be ten minutes from my house. FYI that property should probably have some good turkey hunting if your into that the farm up the road holds a ton of birds.

The county is kinda picky around here about adding a driveway if it needs a culvert to cross a ditch. Otherwise, I don't think they care. Things may be different up that way.

BTW, I have a cousin up in that neck of the woods. Chance are, anybody near Canton, Clyde, or any of the surrounding cities, towns, or counties knows him

He's a McCracken if that tips you off at all. Gold colored 05 F250.
