Adobe Indesign Imitation??

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a free software that is similar in function to Adobe InDesign (a page layout program). I don't need the software enough to really warrant buying the Adobe version, but if there was a free imitation version out there, that would be nice.

There is a program called GIMP that is similar to Photoshop, and InkScape that is supposed to be similar to Illustrator. So hopefully there is something like InDesign.

often imitated, never duplicated... here's the trial version of Indesign if it helps you out.

how long is the trial version good for?

Basically the only thing i really need it for is designing sales flyers, etc here at the shop. InDesign just happens to be the program I am familiar with cause I had a class on it in school.

not too sure, I don't use the "Trial" version.
