You should havs belts and hoses in stock. I am sure you stock some transmission kits

AA didn't want to deal with private owners, nor did they want to deal with the shops that many of the small town stores had attached to them. ( Smthfield, Clayton, Apex all corporate stores now )

For the near future they (AA) are supposed to leave things as is and run them as separate entities.

All I know about it is what I've gathered from the small stores I deal with on a regular basis, and the stories all seemed to jive as the information was pretty much the same from all as the process unfolded.

I have seen several articles that still talk about privately owned stores I thought they still had some - one of the articles http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle...uest-stores-staff-will-be-under.html?page=all

Maybe here was a deal too sweet to pass up for the independents around here, I don't know. The few owners I do know had mixed feeling on how it went down, some sounded almost hostile about it.

I do know that Apex, Clayton, and Smithfield stores and I believe Wake Forest have all gone corperate, good for me as it opens up more places to buy with out having to hunt down some place we have a business account
