advice on yota 3rd's

i have been told by a few buddies that running a 3rd from a four banger in a three slow v6 will be ok, anyone say otherwise? they are interchangeable, size wise, i was just weary about the strength of the four cylinder holding up.
 
i never broke a single 4 cyl 3rd on 40s, dual cases, 4.7s, and a relentless right foot. They will be fine if they are setup right (mine were factory 4.10s) and you keep oil in them.
