Air compressor wiring for Rubi lockers?

I've read many posts about this, but I can not figure parts of this out. Mostly because I'm not so good at wiring.

I swapped my TJ rear axle for a Rubi 44 this weekend and everything went well. It drove great last night and the axle is more centered than my previous Super 35.

Now I'm trying to wire up the air compressor to run the locker and here are my issues:

I can't this figured out- I'm just trying to test the stock air pumps that came with the rubi axles.

Here are the pumps:

Here is the ground for pump one (test pump)

Here is the positive red wire:

Shouldn't I just be able to touch it to the positive terminal and get juice? Even when I screwed it in to the terminal I didn't get any power.

Also- Here is the electrical switch from my previous Ected electric locker. Power still works, but it doesn't go to anything, so I was going to use it to power the new compressor.

Here is the empty plug from the Ected switch:

There are two wires here- If I were trying to use this switch as the power switch for the air compressor, where would the two wires go? There is a white wire and a black wire going into the plug. Would I ground the black one, then splice the white one into the red power wire for the locker/compressor?

Thanks!

wire coming from the switch (ected) should be hot from either ignition on source or battery. the second wire from the switch should be your hot going to the pump or pump relay.

if your pump is good you should be able to have the negative side of the pump grounded to chassis and carry the power wire to the positive side of the battery air pump should come on

Thanks! I went back and it turns out I had a bad ground.

Both pumps tested out fine. So now comes the plumbing, etc.
