I’m going to be upgrading my 98 12valve with an air dog and just wondering if anybody has a hook up for a better price than just off the interwebz?

TIA

I thought they set pricing or voided the warranty.
They make a quality product but their marketing is shady and deceptive.

They sell a quality pump, their air "preporator" is a gimmick.

I was wondering as it seems the price is pretty well set +/- $75 across the different sites I’ve looked at. Thanks.

Neither of them offer anything for a ‘98 12valve motor though unfortunately only ‘98.5 24V and up.
There really isn’t a value to it on a 12v imho.
I see a value to a quality lift pump on a 24v. But if you have a p pump or other mech b and your fuel system is right …. That’s alll you need.

That’s why I mention it’s snake oil sales. Yes excessive air ingress is damaging. Cracked lines or loose fitting can cause damage. There ain’t some special pressure threshold

The problem I’m running into is cummins doesn’t actually make their own lift pumps anymore for a 12 valve they all come straight out of China. I’m on my third one, and, at $165 a pop I’m damn near the cost of an air dog.

Isn’t one from Genos like 125?

Also I’d be shocked if you are right that cumins doesn’t support that pump anymore.

As far as where it’s made Cummins opened this first China plant in 2006 that’s when I went. They’ve made parts in China for 15 years that are Cummins oem parts

XDP is a good source for one. Probably don't need more than the 4G 100. You could feed it straight to the pump and bypass the factory filter too.

Yes, they're all MAP priced.
