Air shocks tuning?

I would like to adjust the shocks on my buggy at some point in time, someone told me at the DPG race some guys just fill the shock completely with oil (in compressed state I assume), and then fill with nitrogen from there.

I am looking for better handling over bumps/jumps and stuff. Where is the best place to get shock oil?
