Alh vw diesel swap??

OK, so I'm seeing if there is any interest in anyone doing a vw diesel swap into a Toyota, jeep or samurai. I have a jetta tdi that needs a transmission, and I was going to buy a wrecked one and part out the rest, just not sure how good the market would be for a complete alh engine. I don't even know how much to ask for one. Just trying to see if it would benefit me or anyone looking for a swap. Thanks.
 
the alh engine are pretty good engines. Easy to work on and have the capability to be tuned and upgraded turbo to gain decent power. Parts are pretty easy to find. If you do put it into a vehicle it needs to be light. Toyota truck may work, but a 4runner may be to heavy. Samurais would work fine and there have been people who have done that swap. Jeeps may be a bit to heavy. Hope it helps
 
I've seen them done before, just wanting to know if anyone might be interested in buying a TDI engine since all I need out of a parts car would be the transmission. Most of the wrecked TDI cars are still going for around $1800-2000. I can get a transmission for around 1200-1300, so I figured if I can get a whole parts car for not much more I could part the rest including engine and give someone a good deal on the engine. Just wondering what kind of interest there would be.
