Ok, made some improvement tonight. Thrust angle was off, got it better...
Adj caster from -1.9 to +5 on passenger, but driver came out to +4.5. Can I have some variance between the two?
Didn't check camber yet...
Yes, I believe it is set up with a slight difference so it doesn't track with the slight crown on the roads but I may be incorrect. Half a degree isn't much.
To defend the alignment guy, the print out of the jeep posted was pre alignment. I've been talking to Greg through his installation of the lift kit and I suggested the alignment shop he went to. Brian at the shop saw that the camber was off more than it should be side to side and suggested that Greg use an adjustable ball joint or repair any loose parts before he did the alignment as to not waste his money.
I've been dealing with this shop for years and they're great. Brian know his stuff and works really well with the crazy stuff I bring him.
Greg tried to call me with these questions early in the day and I unfortunately have been so busy I wasn't able to get back to him till that evening. Unfortunately a simple problem turned into a bigger headache than it should have.
Yes, Chris has been great...he gave me great info, even after hours to help me... I'm was not posting this thread to bash anyone at all..jeeps are new to me and boy I have a lot to learn...a whole lot different than leaf spring lifts...lol...but thanks to Chris and some info taken from here, I found some mistakes an tweaking on my end... getting things set a little better on my end and then back to alignment shop... and yes, the alignment guy was informative to the wife and didn't charge her anything.... marsfab has never steered me wrong....he has done a lot for me!!!!!!
Update, so me and the wife has made some alignment adjustments and I think we made some progress..
Front left caster +5.5
Front right caster +5.5
Toe in 1/8"
Front left camber -.7
Front right camber -.7
Front pinion 11°
Front drive shaft 11°
Notice the camber came into spec...
One question for you guys, is the rear thrust angle is 0.17 to the right of center. Is this enough to be concerned about.
.17° is not much of anything. I'd run it. Curious, your 1/8" toe in, how far from hub center was that measured? I shoot for 3/32-1/8" at 2ft from center..
Update. So after me and the wife made some adjustments, thanks to marsfab advice, we took it back to alignment shop and it passed. No adjustable ball joint needed. Thanks everyone!!!!
