I'd like some opinions on all terrain tires. I'm using my TJ more these days as a commuter, and want to pull the mud tires for off roading and buy a set of all terrains for daily driving. I want a less aggressive tread like the Toyo Open Country or the Falken Rocky Mountain AT's. Any thoughts or experiences?

BFG A/T X 1000 I love mine no noise at all grip great in everything but sloppy mud. I have no problems in the rain. They may be on the expensive side but nothing compares to them.

General grabber at2s.... great tire with a high mileage warranty .. and they work really well

another bfg a/t fan. had 'em on my zj forever. they are awsome in the rain, snow, and make no annoying noise on the road. i'm getting ready to buy another new set to put on since i've worn these out.

Never ran the BFG AT's because I could never get over how god awful ugly of a tire they are. That being said if you want to run larger then a 33 AT then you are stuck with the BFG AT because they are virtually the only manufacturer who makes an AT larger than 33 now a days.

I wanted a daily driver AT for my TJ but wanted to run 35's I searched every tire supplier within 30 miles of my house and the only 35 I could find was BFG AT's. I couldn't get past the looks of the tire so I decided to run MT's. Anybody I know who has run the BFG AT loves them for wear and noise and some people even like the looks of them. I just couldn't get past the squared off flat tread look of them to want to pay $8-900 for a set of them.

Another vote for the BFG A/T. The only tire I run on my trucks and suvs. They made my 2wd 4runner go better in the snow than a FWD with a Michelin street tire.

Based on what I have owned:

1. BFG A/T
2. Nitto Terra Grappler
3. General Grabber AT/2
4. Firestone Destination A/T

I have a cheap set of Adventuro A/T's (Clark Tire Special) right now and they are an epic fail. Cant wait to get rid of them and go back to a BFG.

Gen. At2, micky atz( not the plus ), bfg at, hancook atm, nitto terra grappler. Thats the tires we sale with the best results
Not in any order. The hancooks and nittos do better on street, and the other 3 will do better off road.
But all are great fora dd that gets used in the woods.
