Aluminum skid plate question

I just picked up a Savvy under armor skid plate. The hardware is steel but the actual skid plate is aluminum. I am painting the steel parts but my question is are you supposed to paint the aluminum or can you just leave it bare?

You can and should just leave it bare. I say should because if you paint it, any scratches or scuffs will look like aluminum.

Hit it with some eagle one occasionally to keep it clean and free of oxidation. Should be fine for years to come.
