McMaster Carr is somewhat affordable and it will be here the next day (usually).
Or, Lowes does carry some if you just need a small piece. Some Fastenal stores have some and can cut to size...

Didn't know or even think about Fastenal for this and there is one less than minute from my house. Definitely keep that in mind next time.
I needed it for this morning and Andy at ECGS was able to hook me up with a piece that would work.
Lowes, Home Depot and Northern Tool, at least the ones in Cary, didn't have anything thick enough other than tread plate and that wouldn't work.
