Hmmm, looked at all the pictures, and didn't see anything odd. Writeup seemed fine...what am I missing?

Oh, THAT.

.

That retractable snorkel is so badass......It is not there in the first pic and.........BAM w the press of a button ( I assume ) instant over the roof fording ability....how cool is that?............ I like the custom tie raps on the tube also. It would be neat to ride shotgun looking around that big pipe at waht you were fixing to swim in. Be shure to roll your window up tight

I wish my Jeep was "snorkled" :shaking:

Nice dorkel...

whats weird is that its on pass side... air box on 4.0 is drivers side......

Well I'm guessin' he didn't want that giant thing blocking the driver's view lol

years ago it was a hi-lift jack that folks just had to have so everybody knew they were hardcore,it appears that the snorkle has taken its place.Where I live theirs alot of nissans runnin around with them and I ask one of them the other day if he wasnt worried about the ecm thats under his seat gettin wet before the intake was under water and he ask me"whats a ECM''

The zip ties I think I see in the pic tell me it is a cheap, household exhaust vent duct w a folded seam down the length of it. I'm sure that would not leak water at all..............if you wrapped the shit out of it w ductape!!! while adding even more Macho offroad bling!!! Wait a minute.........is that a bucket ontop???i'm sure that won't blow off when at highway speeds cause I guess it's screwed/riveted through the roof??It would force induction well though before it went flying off, AND.........how the hell do you open the hood???? the " dorkel " must slip fit for easy on and off when you just gotta test the waters.

not every snorkle is for fording capabilities. some are to get air from higher up in hopes of getting out of the dustcloud stirred up by the tires.

i doubt this is what he had in mind....im just sayin.

To me the real telling part is that it has that, a locker (in a D35...), MTs etc yet the factory bumpers which are in great shape.

HOLY DORKEL BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without the snorkel, how would you be able to verify the extreme off-road prowess the locked Dand 35 and 30" mud terrain tires give you?
