I didnt even know the season had started until Duke lost tonight and the shit talking began.....

Honestly, who cares? Id take football ANY time of the day. On top of that, the players who actually mean something dont even make it to college anyways

Not the only one... I don't care either. But I also don't care about football, hockey, nascar, soccer, baseball (might watch a few braves games each year), or just about any other sport.

Its crazy how so many people plan thier lives around games. I love to hear people talking to thier buddies saying "We" really played great last night... Like they had anything to do with the team winning when all they did was sit on the couch and watched it on TV.

not much on it myself either. In fact, when Duke,Carolina etc....are playing, and I'm w/ friends
I will always pull for the other team, just to be ''That Guy''

Are you a communist or something?

the only basketball I don't watch is NBA, too boring to watch a bunch of over-paid lazy asses

However, I really do like college basketball regardless of who is playing :D

NBA, soccer and hockey blow wang...I watch everything else..baseball is on the line though. So long! Any college sport is fun to watch.

Im a big GT fan...Go jackets!

Dude, watch a full game of hockey, JUST ONE, and you'll change your mind.

SO much fun to watch. Football and Hockey are the only two I watch.

I hate basketball period.

Love playing sports, hate being a spectator, UNLESS:

either
A) Im playing.
B) Its a highlight reel (good tackles, injuries, knockouts and plays) or on a "Real TV" type show
C) Im with friends and therefore not watching game
D) Its a more interesting sport, like motorsports, MMA, "extreme sports", etc...

Bottom line is I just don't care, and no matter who wins they start over next year. Whoopie.
Give me a highlight reel and I am just as good as if I saw the whole game.

And i agree, if you don't play on the team, quit talking about "our win last night" etc... you didn't do anything to help them win except buy a hat with the team name on it.

I only watch the sports My kids are involved in. If their not playing I'm in the shop or outside. As far as watching a whole game on TV I would rather check metal temperature after welding/cutting it with my fingers(less painful that televised sports) Now thats not to say I don't enjoy knocking a few  back and playing the XBOX. It is funny listing to the people around you talking about how good they played in the last game when they actually did even ride the pine.

You are not alone.

The only sports I watch are motocross and supercross. I get really tired of people at work constantly talking about 'the game'.

Did any of you that don't like basketball ever play much? I love basketball, football and soccer, I played them since I was a kid every chance I got(daily. I don't care for golf or baseball, I played these 2 sports as well but the lack of contact and the level(type) of competition never interested me. I coached youth soccer for 5yrs and loved it but I got too busy with other things:wheel: and gave it up.

I grew up with 3 brothers and a sister that all played sports, if we weren't busy with sports we were usually beating the hell out each other.

Most "fanatics" I know never even played any sports beyond a grade school level. I watch the super bowl because ,usually beer is involved, and baseball because I'd played for many years. I don't yell at the tv or call my teams "we" and can understand why someone who hasn't played the game would think it boring as hell to watch on tv.

Oh, golf...I watch a good amount of golf.

I used to care about it when I was growing up. I loved watching Duke basketball when I was a kid. Then I went to TN where football reigns supreme. I can't stand to watch basketball anymore. I love college football but the rest can take a hike.

I don't care about most "team sports"...If you are wearing a helmet you should be in or on something with an engine.

I played some when I was younger...I just found more exciting things to do(girls and vehicles)

i couldnt give a rats ass about any sports involving a ball.

Love watching football. I will watch some college basketball, but would rather be shot than watch the NBA. Most of those guys are thug clowns. Baseball i will watch the playoffs but thats about it.

I would rather be playing anything or working on my junk than sitting behind a tv with any sport.

The 1 year rule is in place now. So all players end up in college for at least a year, except for the 2 or 3 that choose to play for pay internationally until they are eligible for the NBA Draft. The 1 year rule helps slimey coaches like Calipari (now at Kentucky) field a team of top b-ball talent without worrying about them needing to attend any more than a cursory semester of easy courses. Because academic eligibilty is based on the previous semester. This rule should either be abolished or increased to 2 or 3 years so the guys looking to major in ball will end up elsewhere.

And I have always loved college basketball.
