98% (if not more) of the JK's on the road probably will never see off pavement, and if they do probably a gravel road. If it winds up riding better, they will sell even more. It sucks for the purist, but I bet they do it so they sell more.

Here's where the flaw is in your statement. They are listening to the Jeep Community. It now consists of Soccer moms and yuppie dads.
