When I first started welding, had a wrecker, & was junking cars, on the side, I had a lot of scrape iron. I never through much away, or scraped it, because I always needed just a 1, 2, or who knows how many Inches of something! Why cut up a Long piece, for a couple inches? But seems like a lot of it was galvanized too. Damn that stuff turns green, white, & smells like sulfur.

Yeah I hate galvanized metal. If its thick enough flux welds it really nice but screw this thin stuff
