another 6.0 in a CJ

So the 6.0 is in the bay, and it fits. Sitting 3" over to the pass to try to take away vibes from the far offset 60 rear. Going to use the stock van manifolds, they fit- just removed to make the mounts. Took forever to get here. Lots of good info on the net, but when you want to use a 700r and a VSS it gets interesting. The small T.C. pattern on my 700 would not mate to the flexplate and the VSS tone ring/pickup had to be custom added to the 700/300 adapter. So, thats sorted and now on to the other pesky crap that couldnt be found until its in the bay. But thats what I expected I guess. I am already diggin the electric fan, just looks cleaner.
dang, the york is in another zip code. didnt look that bad on the stand!

looks great man. where you live in huntersville? didnt know there were too many people around me.
 
just curious as to what type of rearend you are running and how you delt with the rear driveshaft angle. i have a similiar setup with a 350 and am trying to figure out this rear driveshaft.

hidden progress= no pics. been doing trans mount and hooking everything back up. nothing picture worthy. all the little things that take time is whats next. should start wiring it all in this week. :huggy:

Im in Cedarfield by the new hospital.

rear is out of a E350 van- driveline is is just moved over to line it up.
