so i'm doing a auto to manual swap on my k5 and i found some pedals in ohio on pirate4x4 the guy says he doesn't know how to use paypal and wants me to just send him the money?

should i and if i do is there a good way to do it so i don't get screwed?

whats C.O.D.?

Call of Duty

Ok so in THIS case it's Cash on Delivery.
He ship, you have to pay teh courier when it shows up (or the ydon't let you take it), Courier pays him the $$.

Tell him to send you the pedals and then you will pay him??? I guess people do that stuff all the time but my issue is when I send my money I dont have the money or the parts and I want to jump in the truck and follow the mail man just to see who rips me off. I have used pay pal several times with no issues but really hate those lond distance deals. Good luck either way.

Paypal is easy to setup. Just send the money to his email and he will get a message telling him that he has money and how to get it.

I've always had good luck with Pbb folks, but I check their account age as well as read up on previous posts.. Personally I have stopped using paypal. Depending on how you send the money, they have a fees now. I don't like them being tapped into my checking account.

Inversely - If someone demands to use pay pal to buy something from me, I naturally assume they will not hesitate to screw me and try to get their money back via paypal.

I generally trust most people on this site who have a red star I figure if they are involved enough locally to join that they would be easy to track down if needed.

So these days its back to cash upon pickup.

And if someone said to send the part first and was local I probably would.. Cause if they didn't pay how would that make them look.. ?
