Bought this 6’x16’ tilt trailer off member here. Thought it would work for my needs, but when I got it home, was a no go as my luck goes. The axle was too far back and when I loaded my Side by side, there was zero tongue weight. So I figured I would lengthen it 18” and make it a non tilt trailer to make it work. Added the 18”, this lead to new boards, then painting and new wiring and lights. That led to some new wheels and hubs. I sold my 23 year old 5 x 8 trailer for more than I paid for it and ended up with a trailer that can haul my mower and side by side for a few hundred bucks.
The start. Removed this to add 18”.

Already to go. Got a spare tire mount coming and then all good!

Very nice...but damn Dexter, what's up with the plastic? 🤣
That is to keep all the prying eyes from seeing all the good stuff (junk) in the rest of the shop..lol

Actually I use in the winter to separate the other two bays when I am heating it. Slacking on getting it rolled up this year as you have noticed.
