Wife was in a wreck on I 40 this morning. A car hit ice on a bridge and was sitting sideways in the road. The wife rounded the bend and couldn't see it. Hit at speed, 70 mph or so. Broke her left ankle bit other wise ok.

Glad she isnt hurt worse. What is that? Maybe ford cross-over? Looks like it did its job.

Whew, this is gettin crazy !

Glad she is ok, she'll be sore for a bit

to hell with the car, looks like it did well protecting her.

This wasn't around exit 86 or so was it? Glad she only had a minor injury.

Our wives need to cut this out. I am just now getting wifey's Trailblazer back on the road. Glad she was not seriously injured.

Yes it was the one on exit 86.

She's ok. Broke both ankles. One needs pinned.

Car held up. Its was a ford escape. She hit a explorer that had all ready crashed and was Sittin side ways in her lane. That person had to be cut out and was taken to mission. All I know is the person is stable. They aren't saying much about them. It was dark and the bridge was icy.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Ill pass them to the wife.

Sorry to hear this Mike, but damn happy she is for the most part OK. She will heal is the best news. Praying the other driver is going to be OK.
Loosing a bit of History, you were driving that Escape the day you met up with us Rock Corps guys on old 105 playin in the snow.

Dang, sory to hear about the wife being hurt. Looks like you are eating peanut butter sandwiches for a while till she is walking again. I am really considering buying my wife a MRAP to drive.

Thanks again for all the well wishes. The wife says thanks.

Your right Chip, I had forgot bout that.

Warbeast, its a good idea! We swapped her Taurus for the escape when she started the long commute a few years back. Had she been in a car she probably wouldn't have been so lucky.

Came close to loosing her. Really hits home and puts things in perspective.
