The heat on my '89 XJ Pioneer hasn't worked since I got it. I don't care about A/C but it's been getting pretty cold around here lately. This is the weird thing...The blower motor kicks out air but only on the highest setting and after the Jeep is warmed up. If you try to turn it down one notch it will cut off. Also, when it blows out it only blows out cold air. It won't get hot no matter what. The A/C seems to work good but it won't blow out any hot air. What is causing everything to only work on the highest setting? It will seriously shut off if you just turn it down one notch and why is it blowing out cold when I cut the heat on? Thanks for the help!

there is a flap on the pas side under the dash that turns the air to hot and cold its close to the center console make sure that its turned the right was mine had the same problem and the cable was not hooked up

I don't see the flap that you're talking about. What year Cherokee do you have? Anyone else? It's supposed to be in the 20's this weekend
