Does anyone here do anything creative with thin gauge metal? I have a small project Id like to commission and can't find anything like I'm looking for on Etsy/ArtFire/etc.

Looking to have a few shapes cut from (probably) 22g. copper sheet welded/brazed/soldered to 10/12g solid wire.

Any takers?

There was a thread awhile ago on welding craft projects in this subforum. Can't remember the title though, but a lot of neat little things came up.
I recall Chris @MarsFab had some creative stuff. Also @WARRIORWELDING is an instructor.

As much copper as I braze at work, the last thing I want to do is screw with it when I get home. My hands stay green Mon-fri.
I mean, it's a cool material that last forever, like aluminum, but if you need it to be structural, use 2-3x the thickness as you would dealing with steel.

Send me Some pics. I have a lil copper sheet left over from some projects. I think its 22g

I have done some copper. Mostly family projects. I don't keep any sheets. But I'd would happily take a look.

I'd be interested in taking a look, too. I've done some copper welding with TIG and solid wire. A few art projects, chimney caps, etc. I have some sheet, probably thicker than you want, though. It's 16oz, I believe.

Thanks guys and girls, when I get a minute early part of this week Ill try to write up a description as best as I can and be in touch. Y'all the best!
