here that can can convert 2D ACAD(R12?) .dwg or .dxf files to .ngc ("G-code") for use on a small CNC mill that runs TkMini (open source Linux CNC proggy)?

Its a little harder than converting the file types. What kind of mill is it? Does it have a tool changer? How will you be holding the work piece? What operations will you be doing? General info. I'll take a look at it for you.

What kind of mill is it?

TINY little POS "benchtop" mill... like from Grainger or McMaster

Does it have a tool changer?

Nope

IHow will you be holding the work piece?

It has a mini vice attached to the bed via t-nuts

What operations will you be doing? General info. I'll take a look at it for you.

I have 3 different parts: #1 - unisex (L or R) shim @ 1.375"W x 4"L, #2 - RH shim , & #3 - LH shim... both @ 3.5"W x 4"L. Basically cutting the backside of 1/2"-3/8" AL bar stock... the cut involves concave radius (very large radius) side-to-side and a taper front-to-back. If I can get it to cut the profile, that would be cool too (I can clean up anything left via sander)

Thanks!

OO OO I know what it is! If Casey runs into problems helping you, let me know, I may be able to pull some old strings at Alliance and get you something.
