ran across this deal and ordered me one:

Nuvi 360 for $249.99...price good (online only) through 2/10...

has text-to-speech, bluetooth, mp3/audio books and more...

Here's a price comparison from PriceGrabber: http://electronics.pricegrabber.com/gps/m/18375495/sort_type=bottomline

best price on there was $285...which is a little more than mine was, even with paying tax and shipping ($277.71)...plus, I have the convenience of taking it back to a local store if needed...

Garmin lists it as $589 MSRP...

as another comparison, Circuit City has the 260 for $299 and Best Buy has it for $349...and this is the model without bluetooth or mp3 capabilities...

Just thought I'd pass it along...

does it do tracklog/bread-crumb?

my guess is no...it's made for the road...most of the ones that do what you mention (assuming I have any idea what you're talking about) are the handheld hiking/backpacking specific ones...

it holds 500 "favorites"...but only really deals with paved/gravel roads...

My Nuvi 650 has an "off-road" feature - in teh settings you can select driving, wlaking, or "off-road" - in Off-road mode, it just takes you the shortest distance in a straight line, regardless of the road, lol.
This one may be the same.

BTW, the "text to speech" thing is pretty neat - instead of aying just "turn left", it actually says,"Turn left on Yadville road". The pronunciation is impressively accurate (I use the brittish "Jack" voice, lol".

I'm probably missing something - but I can't figure out how to organize the favorites. They're just in teh order I entered them. Pretty annoying.

mine are always organized by distance...closest is first...

they always changed depending on where I am...

does yours not work the same way?

You know, I never really paid attention. I've only used it a few times, and now that I think of it, every time I've gone to look up a Favorite, i've been sitting in my own driveway...

Everything else is alwasys listedt hat way though, so it does make sense...

I own this exact unit... It is awesome, I bought mine back in January for 385... I wouldnt trade it for anything... just besure to jump online with garmin and do all the updates every once in a while.
