The truck was hit on driver fender and bed

The computer box... Idm? Wasn't damaged

The truck was running before the accident but now it will just spin over nothing more

Checked the safety button on floor, the fuel bowl leaks and was replaced but Astill leaks?

Any advice would be great!

If someone wants to make a few bucks or wants some jeep stuff come take a look at it it's at my he in Mayodan about 20n of Greensboro

Check the wiring harness for the fuse box it is probably damaged and not sending power to the comp

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key on ?

Did you change the fuel bowl drain valve orings ?

sent by telegraph from my k30

Check battery connections. If the computer is not getting enough power it will spin but not fire. Maybe the hit to the fender damaged the battery.

Spray a little ether in the intake tube and see if it will hit.If it hits you probably have a fuel problem.Have you checked the oil??? Check the maxi fuses on the firewall and make sure they are all good, one of them(dont remember which) controls the heater in the fuel bowl,if the heater is bad or not workin right it will blow that fuse.

If it doesn't its a spark problem:D where's the ECM in a superduty, on OBS trucks its in the drivers kick panel and the wiring harnes comes out low in the fender well. Are 7.3l superdutys the same? Mileage? ever changed the CPS? could be a hundred things, Know someone with a code reader?

Or a compression problem :smokin: my 02 has the ecm below the dash about at the drivers shin.He says hes replaced the fuel bowl so Im betting the heater in the bottom of it has shorted out and blown one of the maxi fuses under the hood.

This. The fuel bowl heater commonly shorts out on the bowl itself and blows the PCM fuse. Will let it turn over but not start. Make sure that is ok. If you replace the fuse and it blows again right off the bat, unplug the WIF/Heater plug on the fuel bowl and try again.

^^^^^ that ^^^^^^
OR
my bet is the CPS is bad if i can find my spair i will send it to you
but they are cheap & easy to change

I think I'd look at the fuel heater fuse. As far as the fuel bowl, I keep the rebuilds in Stock from dieselorings.com. we use them on virtually every truck we see!

Yeah the motor has 190k miles on it, I tried the ether and it fired up for a sec and shut off and wouldn't do it again..

Will check the fuses

Thanks for all the help and responses!!

Try to avoid ether. There's a heater in the intake and they will ignite ether. Most times you can get by with it times but the one time you don't it's a mess!
