I have a JC Higgins model 66 semi auto 12 ga shotgun that won’t fire. The internet says that the action bar is prone to breaking on this model and mine had been welded back together at some point so I bought and installed a new one. Still no fire. Now I’m out of ideas. What’s the next thing I should check/replace? There’s about 1/8” fore-aft play in the ‘bolt’ in the closed position (I’m pointing to it in photo). Is that excessive?
