Something with my heat pump/oil furnace went out last night. Hoping someone here, near the Hickory area, was in the business? I know oil furnaces arent so popular these days, and would rather support someone here is possible.

Other recomendations welcome too.

If only he lived closer, a tech with my company who grew up in Jersey is a genius when it comes to oil furnaces. If you want I can pm you his number.

Check oil filter, orifice, and ignitor

So i got it started and working. The exterior metal housing was too close/touching the coil, not allowing it to pull the contacts closed. Moved it away and it started right up. Oil pump assembly was louder than i have noticed in the past but it seemed to be working great.

Got the house upto ~65deg but doesn't really seem to want to get any warmer. Any ideas?
