Here is the deal, I have contaced a few "house movers" in the area. But they take for ever to get free time and take a look at what you have. I have a 16ft W x 17ft T x 23ft L two story storage building. I need to figure out how to move it! Anyone on here know how to do so or can do so for me? Am willing to give what $ is worth it!

Any input is awesome!

THANKS

height is gonna hurt.
you are going to have to find a route with no over passes...

or power lines...sitting on a rollback, you'll be 20-20.5' tall

How far you moving it? Down the street I might chance it.

Get caught, and the fines will be more than a new building.

Hell even a double drop low boy....
13'6" is bridge height

yeah, when the guy came to move my bosses storage building they brought a rollback and a highlift jack.

lifted up one end of the building, tilted the rollbed, and reversed the truck up under it. strapped it on and lowered the bed.

the two story is gonna be the kicker. Call lowes home improvement and ask how they move theirs. I know the sell them ...do they ship'em or construct them on site?

my buddy works at lowes and said that most of their 2 storys they build on land.....i believe i am gunna have to go the route of taking it apart and hauling a story at a time, but then again i still have the 16ft wide issue...

well, that's why I had asked on the for sale section how you would move it.
Only way I see it being moved is to disassemble it. Being as wide as it is and as tall as it is.

i just got off the phone with a house moving company here around asheville. they said not a problem, what they do is use there mini crain to take the first story off, then put it on a trailer and then bring the second story to the land....so need to call the buyers and it should be gone soon hopefully!
