Any NCSU students go to Reynolds last night?

We went to see the Avett Brothers (seemed like most people there did, as many left after their set)... not often do you see the "opening act" get cheered back for an encore! Of course they are the 'local boys', so that's a big part of it. I like their stuff and really liked the show.

I have to say, though, the event as a whole left much to be desired. They opened it to the public and charged $20/head and had no concessions and wouldn't let anyone leave or move around the facility for any reason. Anyone else go or have a similar experience with rude event staff?
 
Hey, i was at the show. I thought it was great! It was the first Avett Brothers show i have seen. I didn't have any problems with the staff but it was probably because i was about 10 ft from the stage the whole night. I was in that mad rush to the front after the homecoming junk was over.

I do wish that the Avetts would have played more but i guess they didn't cause they were the opening band. Did you stay and watch Guster? I thought they did very well. i liked how every song they played sounded just like it does on the albums. Every little sound and effect they play.

Im going to try and go to the Avett show in Charlotte on new years eve. i heard its one of there best shows.
