hi my name is Robert i was in the process of building my rock buggy full tube chasie with my best friend in the word Mike Chapman. Recently he passed away and i now have a unfinished buggy at home that i want to finish. it has a 351 w in it currently running and the cage/frame is about 96% complete. I have 1 rockwell that is welded and i need another welded and all and i need my 4 link done. also it will be running hydro front and rear steer i would love to get it done but money of course in todays time is kinda hard to come by.. i have no time or money to spare right this moment as i am attending nashville auto desiel school for the next year. and i am having to put money aside to helpmy mom with here back surgery she had yesterday from a car accident many years ago.

feel free to message me... thanks

There are several in NC area, I would contact M&m offroad in Mocksville, NC. Look in the "build Section" for some of his work.

I'm in Lexington, about 25 min south of Greensboro. If you need some help with it let me know, I can build about anything you need.

Get with Chris at Marsfab man his work is beautiful and top notch!

Chris or PJ are both excellent choices. There are more here in NC but they are the closest to you that I know of. You won't go wrong with either of them.

PJ at M&M, Jim's Garage, Chris at Marsfab...and several more in the area.
But you say no time and no money...thats going to cut the pool of guys considerably. None of those mentioned are going to donate material and labor from their business for free...I doubt.

I am 100% thrilled with the buggy Jim built for me. You can't go wrong with Jim's Garage, he builds buggies to thrash on for years. I've beat mine within an inch if it's life numerous times and it begs for more.

.

Ron has a valid point - the flat truth is that guys that build buggies as a job expect to be paid for it (as they should). That won't be cheap.

I'm curious how a project is 96% done but is missing an axle, has no links done or any hydro done yet...
just sayin' you might need to step back and aseess the whole situation...

It was for sale on here a while back. Unfortunately it is going to cost a fair bit to finish just in parts, even with free labor. Might want to put it aside while you go through school and all.
