any one redrilled a unit bearing?

I have a ford ft d 60 with the metric pattern. what do you guys think about redrilling the unit bearings with the old style lug pattern?

If there's room, do it! Once you squeeze the wheel and rotor between the studs and nuts, there's no bending stress on it, and there should be more than enough material left to handle the shear and compressive stresses.
