any Saab owners?

08 Saab 9-7x. It's got a Saab badge, but technically, it's a Trailblazer/Envoy SS. Just bought it in October in a deal that was too good to pass up. 5.3L V8 w/304 hp, awd, lowered and tuned self-leveling suspension, big brakes, touch-screen nav system, DVD player, and even on-board air. My trail rig doesn't even have friggin OBA.

It rides awesome, hauls ass, and fits me, the wife, the baby, the dog, and 2 weeks worth of luggage w/christmas presents.

no offense johnski, do you know what saab stands for?
stupid
ass
actually
bought it
yes yours is a trailblazer, but you will see the difference when you have to buy one of the parts that are "saab" specific
According to the saab forums, the only saab specific parts are body and interior related, which I'm not really worried about. Under the hood and the rest of the drivetrain is straight-up gm. Part #'s swap between the envoy and trailblazer.

I put about 70k on a Turbo 900 Hatch back in the day. I found parts to be reasonably priced and it was relatively reliable during my ownership. It was not the M3 that I would have loved to have, but it was cheaper (used) than a comparable 4-cylinder Accord and much more exciting to drive.

It depreciated like crazy though. I got it for about half sticker price when it was three years old and only had 30k miles. By the time it had 100k it was worth very little. I think I sold it for about $4.4k. That comparable Accord would have still been worth close to twice that, but the little turbo four was probably worth it.

I saw it on Craigslist a couple years later with about 130k and now I occasionally see it parked at one of the buildings at work.
