I heard about it too. I had stopped by my uncle's house in Cameron and one of his buddies came by. He said they got there about the same time the helicopter was taking off to carry the photographer to chapel hill. They cancelled the rest of the days racing. The photographer is Ian tocher an editor for drag illustrated. He's in pretty bad shape.

Ronnie was good friends with one of my friends, I didn't know him but followed him through my buddy's facebook feed. Really sad to hear this. Prayers for his family and friends.
