make this swap legal?

chevy 350 in a 95 YJ..... any way to make it legal/ pass inspection??? what does it need? lets assume i'm starting with just the motor. or is this just a no go all around?
 
I thought that sized engine had to be an option for that vehicle. For instance, putting a 350 in a Jeep that had a V8 from the factory. Putting it in one that only had a 6cyl, I would think, would void any ability to get it to pass inspection legally. Its been done but I don't know how. I could be wrong on this but this was my understanding.

x2... engine has to be from a newer vehicle, and retain all the emissions equipment...

you might could get it to pass with less though....
 
Its a 95.......shouldn't matter
 
ohhh yeaaa it's a 95. Become great buddies with a guy that does inspections. then carb it with no cats and get him to help you out with a inspection...
