Just seeing if anyone has the same addiction I do....
I've been wanting some ratcheting wrenches for a while, just too cheap to buy them (they ain't cheap). So I'm in AutoZone the other day and I could currently use 2 specific sizes. I buy 2 wrenches for around $35. When I go back to pick up the part I ordered a couple of days earlier I decide to return them (still unused because I'm waiting on parts) and I buy both sets or ratcheting flex heads. Only $175 for 14 wrenches, what the hell.... This isn't the only time I've done shit like this, and not the most expensive either....

Anybody else.....

I don't really have a chance to work on my crap anymore so I make up for it by buying tools. I must admit I have an addiction. I have a bunch of crap I never even use...
I used to get more work done when I had a stanley set of wrenches/sockets and an angle grinder.

Any excuse to buy a new tool, woodworking, steel working, or hand tools. I'm all over it.

yeah, this damn guy in a truck that says snap-on stops by the shop every week and takes money from me :(

MY Rules :
There is no such thing as :
Too Many Tools
Too Many Guns
Too Big a Tire
Too Much Motor
Too Many 4X4's
Too Much Money
These are only abstract concepts that can be discussed but never would occur in reality.

Yeah, I'm an Equipment Junkie. Any excuse for a new tool is a good excuse. I think you could have come out better on the wrenches, though. Home Depot sells the 7 piece set in standard or metric for like $60 or $70 a piece. I like the Husky tools, too. My wife got me a set of Craftsman flex-heads for Christmas, but she got me standard instead of metric. She even asked the dipwad salesman if they were metric, he said yes! So I need to exchange or return those. They have a lever that locks the head in place, but they were $99, and the heads look bigger than the Huskys. I may just return them and get those.

Addicted? Naw, not a bit!

I spent $15,483 with snap-on alone this year. That is just in tools. I already had the tool box.
Damn, dude! You just starting out or what? I think I probably spent that my first year but after a while you've got just about everything on the truck!

i just went and bought a Milwaukee Sawzall because i wanted to cut the bed off of my truck (flat bed welded on by PO). I got the 12 amp orbital saw with 1 1/8" stroke for $99 (orriginal price $149). they put the sticker on the wrong saw, so i got it for $50 off. :bounce:

I always spend all my money on tools.

Im only 3 tools short of a complete collection (well, thats kinda like a finished rig...but you get the idea): plasma cutter, tube bender, CNC machine.

I also like having the right tool for every job. Here's my new addition to the collection.

I have 4 craftsman socket sets that are unopened cause I really don't need them! I think that I have some screw drivers and stuff still in packages as well! Too many sales and not enough money!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got 2 angle grinders for christmas, and have used the $hit outta them already!

Nah, I'm not addicted!
