Any WJs out there in NC?

Just wanted to see if anybody is building/wheeling WJs in NC area. I know Surf 092 has one and NC Jeepin but anybody else? Post up your pics too! Where do you guys wheel?
im getting ready to go from 2" to 4" on my 01 hopefully with some 265/75/16s and fingers crossed that i don't have DW.

I swear everyone knows my WJ. It's getting ridiculous. :cool:

My buddy Chad has an '02 Laredo sitting around 3" with 31" MT/R's and my other friend Jim has a '00 Limited with a 4" lift and 32" MT's. Both are in Raleigh and should be making a few wheeling trips with me this year. There's actually about 12 or so lifted WJ's in Raleigh that I've seen around, but I only know about half.
 
there is a blue one driving around uncc with some euro tail lights and about 10 other lights. i would say 8-10 of lift and some 35-36's and its super :gay:
 
thats sweet! we should all get together and run sometime. I'm at UNF quite a bit and other places around the state. I live close to W/S, how bout you guys?

how could we not know your WJ, its BA. also my buddy robbie(silver rubicon) from raleigh always talks about your jeep. I'm in W/S but maybe we could all do a run at uhwarrie when it opens in april.

what springs/spacers combo are you running on your WJ? How much lift do you think you have? are you running tera arms or JKS?
 
Theres one in Galax VA, its pretty badass, custom 9" axles, trailready beadlocks and bumpers, atlas tcase, 4.7 stroker, custom 4link, and a host of other goodies. Ill try to find a pic I have of it and post it.

I'm running the Tera springs and a 1" BB front, Tera springs and a 1.5" BB rear. Front lower and upper JKS arms. Rear lower Terashit arms. I'm somewhere over 5" of lift now...23.5" hub to fender last I checked. NOT recommended on short arms. It drives fine to me, but will not recommend following in my footsteps.

thats what i thought you were running. yeah im going to try not to go over 4" without Long Arms. On my XJ i ran 6.5" with short arms and it was terrible, im sure the ride isn't the greatest with your set-up. That means its about time for long arms, when are you going to do those?

No longarms for a while...It's my DD, no DW, but it's no Cadillac...however everyone I know with a lifted Jeep thinks mine rides amazing. I don't really wheel it much due to lack of time and I'd rather spenmd what free time I have at the ocean. Someday it'll be put in the shop for months on end and collect dust while getting longarms, axles, bigger tires, taller springs, etc. For now it's staying as is, although 4.56's and a locker are goin in it in a couple days.

thats cool, mines a DD now to so i think im going to stay around 4" for a while and maybe long arms later down the road. Wow 4.56s, aren't those a little much for 265/75s or are you planning on running 285s? is your jeep quadradrive? you putting in a aussie locker in the rear?

^ no spool aaron? :flipoff2: cmon now haha...ive not seen tkeaton's wj project lately but i hear great things, things that no one's really going to believe, yours is most definately the cleanest wj around that is practical.
 
Ive got an 01 WJ with all kinds of mods to it. Its a silver WJ that has 2.5" of lift and I'm all for takin it wherever there is wheelin to be done :)
