Im looking to get a 3" body lift for my silverado and was wondering if any body does them and if so how much?? The best price I can find is 300 for labor, 325 for teh kit, and 80 dollar for gap guards, just looking to save a little cash on this if anybody wanted to help, thanks

I'll give you an example. If you have an 88-98 or 99-00 old body style:

Kit: $300 including gap gaurds and new body bushings
Labor: $300
Tax: $20.25

Total: $620.25

Let me know if we can help.

body lifts are a breeze to install, a 3" can be a little more tricky to do bc of the height (I personally wouldn't go over 1"). Just find a buddy who's done one before or has some automotive skills and do it yourself and save the $300 for something else.

I would do it yourself. I bought one for my truck a little while back and installed it myself in my garage. It was my first one ever and took me around 5 hours to complete. My body bolts where super hard because of all the loctite that is used. Other than that, I had to bend some brake lines, install a steering extension and a shifter extension. The install went very smoothly since Performance Accessories includes all the info you need to install. Don't forget that when you buy, Summit Racing will price match anyone!

Hey guy I'm new here but I've put a lift on a 2002 z71 for my brother and if you wanted to drive to greensboro I would help you put it on for free I've got a shop we could work out of.

Save your money and just install it your self. I've done 3 of them and its not bad. Just take your time and go slow because I usely miss a bolt or something. But its not hard to do, just have a freind watch it when you start lifting the body..:huggy:
