anybody ever… willys body to CJ5 frame?

looking at mating a willys 2A body to a 76 and up CJ5 frame / drivetrain. anybody ever ACTUALLY done it?

I have everything to go back willys stock but like the idea of better everything in the later model stuff.

I'm sure it has been done. What are the overall lengths of both the Willys and the CJ5? I am sure you will have to move body mounts around etc. I have two willys frames if you need one...

I'd think that engine space/clearance would be an issue. Isn't the 2a height from the frame to hood a lot shorter?

The frame should be about 6" longer. That will be your main hurdle.

You might consider the '60s CJ frame, but the AMC CJ's were a too long.
